Special Service Request
A code used to indicate a special service or assistance requested by a passenger, such as dietary requirements, wheelchair assistance, or infant accommodation. A special service request is made using an SR entry, which generates an SSR element in the PNR and a request message to the airline or airlines concerned. These are typically used for services such as wheelchairs, or hard of hearing assistance.
