PRODUCT OWNER

Branchspace works with major travel brands, including airlines, to design and deliver world-class digital applications.

We are looking for an ambitious Product Owner to join our team as we build out Triplake, our innovative Digital Commerce Platform for the travel industry.

We would like to talk to people who have at least 2 years experience working in similar roles such as Product Manager, Agile/Technical Product Owner, Business Analyst and/or Project Manager. The ideal candidate should enjoy the challenge of joining demanding projects. They need to take pride in delivering exceptional solutions to improve the travel technology industry and be part of the team to influence the technical direction.

What the role involves

As a Product Owner you will work within one of our agile teams who are responsible for building new Triplake product modules and capabilities and delivering these to our customers. This is a diverse role which involves close collaboration with with the product, engineering and UX teams, our customers and customer success team, and the company as a whole to influence the direction of our product and ultimately the company. You'll leverage and/or develop a deep knowledge of the market and combine this with data and your own ideas help inspire the teams and our product roadmap.

Experience & skills

• 2+ years experience on similar roles
• Working with complex eCommerce/web and/or mobile applications with a strong focus on user experience
• Excellent team communication skills, English level: B2
• Working within small agile teams and using effective agile principles and processes, ideally with experience with SCRUM
• Collaborating with product/delivery managers, UX/UI designers, developers and architects, testers, etc.
• Strong delivery focus – building solutions not just technology
• Versatility to engage clients, define/manage requirements as well as to drive the internal teams to deliver a great outcome
• Bonus experience
• Leveraging online retail best practices in the design and optimisation process
• Airline / travel industry, especially with an understanding of the forces that influence online sales strategy
• Airline eCommerce technology, merchandising and reservation systems, payment systems, customer data and personalisation, etc.
• Transactional / process-oriented applications involving complex back-end service integration
